Hollywood!

Today I had an incredible experience! I am now a recorded artist! That's right folks, I am debuting on a track by UEG under the alias "Tail or Heads" as a co-rapper. And yes, I did write my own lyrics! And yes, I did say rap. I should figure out how to post it on this thing...

Anyhow it was mega fun, and I can't wait to do it again! Maybe singing next time, we'll see.

Isn't it cool that we have feelings? That we all can experience different emotions towards identical stimuli.

More on this another time.

Open The Door

Apparently when Mr. Opportunity comes knocking, I'm in the shower or something because I keep missing him!

I very much dislike the realizing I have missed an opportunity, whether it is a chance to spend time with friends, or to comfort someone in need.

For me at least, I feel like my attitude just drops. As a visual, imagine being up in the clouds (where I normally am) just to have them disappear at the most unlikely moment, sending you plummeting to the ground. Ya, thats what its like, at least momentarily.

I guess what I want to say is, stay alert! Opportunities can come anytime and anywhere. Don't let them slip from your fingers.

On the plus side, I was walking home a few nights ago, and to pass the time I improvised a Shakespearian soliloquy, I can't remember exactly how it went, but it was awesome!

Taylor is Back

I don't even know where to begin. I am back to the blogging world after a couple months of silence, or rather inaction. It feels great!! Like I mentioned earlier, my mind felt scattered and cluttered, basically the first half of my summer was me in zombie mode, getting used to waking up early and long hours of work. I think the turning point occurred in July, around the time when my family packed up and drove to Fairmont, where we spent a week relaxing. Great vacation! That probably gave me time to recuperate from the many weeks of hazy thinking.

The summer went great though, I had the greatest time working with my dad, and I miss it. Living at home also had great benefits, like home-cooked meals and little siblings to enjoy everyday.

It's hard to believe that I'm already starting my second year of University, taking cool classes, making new friends, and essentially living it up to the max! I know this year will be a great one, with many new and interesting experiences to come!
